- Make a copy of this Google Sheet (Espanol), rename it Grants/Scholarships-(Your Career Choice)-(Your Initials), and move it into your Lesson 3 folder. In your spreadsheet, you have two sheet tabs. One is for recording your Grants while the other is for your Scholarships. You will be required to record the required information as directed in the column headings:
- Career Cluster
- Name
- Website Link
- Dollar Amount
- Qualification Requirements.
- Using your understanding of a grant and a scholarship from above, you will have today to search for some grants and scholarships pertinent to your career path. You will be required to find a minimum of TEN scholarships and TEN grants in direct connection to the college degree and/or career choice you have chosen. Your grants and scholarships need to come from a minimum of THREE different websites each. Thus, you can’t get all 10 from one website. Here are some reliable websites to use:
- CollegeBoard
- Opportunity Scholarships
- Scholarship Search (have to create an account)
- Petersons
