- Obtain the Notes 2-1 Handout (Espanol) from your teacher and fill in the notes through the presentation. You can also view the Notes 2-1 Presentation (Espanol).
- Read the Lesson 2 Textbook.
Assignment TU2.1
- Inside of your Tax Unit folder, create a new folder titled Lesson 2. All your tasks completed in Lesson 2 should be stored in this folder.
Assignment TU2.2
- Make a copy of this Google Sheet (Espanol), rename it Taxes I Pay 146-(Your Initials), and place it in your Lesson 2 folder.
- Obtain your assigned state from your instructor. Once you have your state, use the internet to identify their respective tax rates. Utilize your state, your researched tax rates, and the provided information items and prices to complete the grey columns in the spreadsheet. Remember that the tax amount is calculated from the total price and the tax rate as a percentage. Multiplying the two will give you the tax amount to be paid.
