  • Complete a payroll time card.

  • Complete a payroll register and an employee earnings record.
  • Prepare payroll checks.

  1. Obtain a Notes 12-4 handout from your instructor and record your notes through the presentation.  You can also view the presentation here.

Working Together 12-4

  1. Make a copy of this spreadsheet.
  2. Place this file in your Chapter 12 folder.
  3. Rename the file to Lesson 12-4 (Your Initials)
  4. Complete the spreadsheet according to the directions on page 358 or below.

On Your Own 12-4

  1. Use the payroll register from On Your Own 12-3.   Three blank checks: on General Account check and two Payroll Account checks are provided in the Lesson 12-4 spreadsheet.  Work this problem independently.  Following the instructions on page 358 or below.
