When you are finished with Lesson 8-1, you will be able to:

• Explain how customers view products.
• Describe how marketers keep a consumer focus during product development.

Assignment 8.1.1

1. Log into your Google Drive account.
2. Navigate to your Digital Marketing folder.
3. Inside of the Unit 3 folder, create a new folder titled Lesson 8.  Everything you create in Lesson 8 will be stored in this folder.

1. Obtain a copy of the notes handout.
2. Read Lesson 8-1 on pages 276-282.
3. As you read, utilize this presentation to help you fill in the missing parts on the handout.
