When you are finished with Lesson 7-1, you will be able to:

• Describe how market segments are defined.
• Understand the four criteria that an effective target market must meet.

Assignment 7.1.1

1. Log into your Google Drive account.
2. Navigate to your Digital Marketing folder.
3. Create a new folder titled Unit 3.
4. Inside of the Unit 3 folder, create a new folder titled Lesson 7.  Everything you create in Lesson 7 will be stored in this folder.

1. Obtain a copy of the notes handout.
2. Read Lesson 7-1 on pages 238-242.
3. As you read, utilize this presentation to help you fill in the missing parts on the handout.
