After studying Chapter 8, you will be able to:

  1. Describe the nature of today’s workforce.
  2. Identify important goals and activities of human resources.

Assignment 8.1.1

  1. Log into your Google Drive account.
  2. Navigate to your Unit 2 folder.
  3. Inside of the Unit 2 folder, create a new folder titled Chapter 8.  Everything you create in Chapter 8 will be stored in this folder.

  1. Obtain a copy of the notes handout.
  2. Read Lesson 8-1 on pages 172-177.
  3. As you read, utilize this presentation to help you fill in the missing parts on the handout.

  1. Make a copy of this Google Document, rename it Human Resources Career-(Your Initials), and move it into your Chapter 8 folder.  Complete the document as directed within.
