Assignment SP.1

1. Create a new folder inside of your Intro to Business folder title Semester Project.
2. Share this folder with your instructor.

1. Make a copy of this Google Document, rename it My Ideas-(Your Initials), and move it into your Semester Project folder.
2. Fill in this document by completing the following:
   • Evaluate your current hobbies and interests to come up with an idea for a business that you’d like to start.
   • Establish a name for your business, a product(s) or service(s) you’d offer, and a location(s) where you’d like for your business.
   • Research the competition that you would have in this niche to determine who you would be competing against for your prospective customers.

1. Make a copy of this Google Document, rename it Ownership Structure-(Your Initials), and move it into your Semester Project folder.
2. Fill in this document by completing the following:
   • Determine what type of ownership you would like to start your business under.
   • Research the internet to identify forms and paperwork that would need to be completed in the state you would locate.  Download those forms and save them.
3. Create a new folder titled Forms inside of your Semester Project folder.  You will need this for Step for in this document.

1. Create a new Google Document, name it My Business Plan-(Your Initials), and move it into your Semester Project folder.
2. Using the data that you collected, create a business plan for your new company that details the following:
   • Title Page
   • Table of Contents
   • Executive Summary
   • Business/Industry Overview

   • Sales and Marketing Plan
     • Product or Service Offerings
     • Pricing Strategy
     • Sales and Distribution
     • Advertising and Promotion

1. Create a new Google Drawing, name if Promotion-(Your Initials), and place it in your Semester Project folder.
2. Use the drawing features to establish an advertisement for your new business to help inform and attract new customers to your business.  Your drawing should include the following:
   • Business Name
   • Product/Service offered
   • Price
   • Place it is offered
   • Means to attack new customers

Assignment SP.6

1. Create a new Google Slides presentation, name it My Business Idea-(Your Initials), and move it into your Semester Project folder.
2. Prepare a presentation utilizing all the information above that you can use to help promote and present your business idea to new customers and potential investors in your company.  Be sure to follow the layout of your Business Plan as a guide for your presentation.
3. Your presentation should include appropriate backgrounds, text colors, images, animations, transitions, and colors that help make your presentation professional and appealing to your audience.

1. Navigate to your Semester Project folder inside of your Intro to Business folder.
2. Share this folder with your teacher. Your folder should contain the following files:
