  • Illustrate the importance of giving to others throughout your life, starting now.

Assignment 12.S.1

  1. Read each of these statements and mark whether you agree or disagree.

  1. Make a copy of this Google Document, rename it to What I Learned-(Your Initials), and move it into your Chapter 12 folder.
  2. Will in the graphic organizer with each of the Five Foundations.  Put a checkmark next to each of the foundations you have accomplished.

  1. Utilize this review to assess your learning from Chapter 12.  You have 10 attempts to get as good of a score as you can.  You are free to use the online textbook above when going through this review.

  1. Make a copy of this document.  
  2. Rename the document Short Answer 12-(Your Initials).
  3. Move the Short Answer 12-(Your Initials) into your Chapter 12 folder.
  4. Use your Chapter 12 textbook link to help answer your questions.
  5. Answer the questions in complete sentences.

  1. Make a copy of this document.
  2. Name the document Case Studies 12-(Your Name) and move it into your Chapter 12 folder.
  3. Read three of the cases and write a possible resolution to the problems presented. Remember to apply the personal finance knowledge and principles you have learned in this chapter.

  1. Obtain a partner from your instructor.
  2. Make a copy of this Google Document, rename it Community Needs-(Your Initials), and move it into your Chapter 12 folder.
  3. The purpose of this activity is to identify areas of need in our community.  You will collaborate and record what you believe are the issues in our community that require focus and improvement.  Be specific with your choices.  For instance, if pollution is a problem, describe the specific nature of the pollution (i.e., industrial, waterways, litter, etc.).
  4. Complete the document with your partner.

Chapter 12 Folder

  1. Log into your Google Drive account.
  2. Navigate to your Chapter 12 folder inside of your Unit 4 folder
  3. Share your Chapter 12 folder with your teacher.  Your folder should contain the following files:

    • Charity
    • Generosity
    • What I Learned
    • Short Answer 12
    • Case Studies 12
    • Community Needs
