Day 49-53

In this lesson, you’ll learn how to do the following:

  • Customize brush settings.
  • Clean the brush.
  • Mix colors.
  • Create a custom brush preset.
  • Use wet and dry brushes to blend color.

Assignment 10.1

  1. Inside of your Computer Graphics folder, create another new folder titled Lesson 10.
  2. Now go to this folder and make a copy of the following files:
    • 10Landscape_Start.jpg
    • 10Palette_Start.psd
    • CIB Landscape Brushes.abr
    • ColorOptions.psd
    • Seahorse.psd
  3. Move them into your Lesson 10 folder.
  4. Read through Lesson 10 (Espanol).
  5. Complete the yellow highlighted steps in Adobe Photoshop.
  6. When prompted to use a keyboard combination, be sure to use the ONSCREEN KEYBOARD within your virtual machine as shown below:

Assignment 10.2

  1. Make a copy of this Google Document (Espanol), rename it to Lesson 10 Study Guide-(your initials), and move it into your Lesson 10 folder.
  2. Complete the study guide as directed.

Assignment 10.3

  1. Navigate to your Lesson 10 folder inside of your Computer Graphics folder.  Your folder should have the following files in it:
    • 10Landscape_Start.jpg
    • 10Palette_Start.psd
    • CIB Landscape Brushes.abr
    • ColorOptions.psd
    • Seahorse.psd
    • 10Palette_Working.psd
    • 10Landscape_Working.jpg
    • SeahorsePainted.psd
    • Lesson 10 Study Guide
  2. Single-click your Lesson 10 folder and then click on the Share button.  When prompted, enter your teacher’s email address and click Send.
