National Park Project

National Park Project

  • The next project you will complete will be a group project.  Your groups are listed below.  As a group, you will decide who will be responsible for what tasks, but your group needs to complete the following:

Scenario:  You have been hired to develop a presentation on your group’s assigned national park.  Your presentation will be used to advertise for the park to get people to attend, but also as an informational piece that the park will use online and on site to tell people about the park.  Your job will be to present the park to the general public using multiple media sources.

Media Sources:  3 videos showcasing actual video of the park, 2 secondary online source providing more information on the park being represented in the video, 1 secondary book source providing information on the park being represented in the video, at least 20 pictures that represent the park, a map detailing the attraction locations within the park, information about the site seeing options within the park, and 1 primary source of a personal, video taped interview with someone who might have been to the park.

Presentation:  Once you have gathered all your information and have video taped your primary source interview, you will need to create a 10 to 13 minute video presentation detailing your park.  This event has to showcase the five required media sources above, but can include more than that.  Your video must include references at the end showing where you got your information from.  This must be cited in APA style.  To be certain you cite these sources properly, utilize this APA guideline.
