Assignment 6.3

  1. Selecting a theme to use on your site is a very vital aspect to the success of your site.  We’ve learned that a theme will save you some groundwork with the site development while giving you some freedom to customize your site to your liking.
  2. Because of the importance of selecting a theme, your task with this assignment will be researching and identifying the important components to look for when choosing a theme.  There are thousands of themes to choose from, so identify the important components will help you quickly eliminate those themes that do not have those features.
  3. To complete this assignment, follow these steps:
    • Use the internet to research the important aspects to look for when selecting a theme for WordPress.  You will be required to have three viable sources at a minimum.
    • Create a new Google Slides presentation titled Theme Aspects-(Your Initials) and move it into your Lesson 6 folder.
    • In your presentation, showcase your findings from your research.  This should include images, graphics, objects, text, animation, slide transitions, etc…  You should have five slides as a minimum.
