After studying Lesson 3-3, you will be able to:​

  1. Discuss how the selling price of a product is calculated.
  2. Differentiate between a direct and an indirect channel of distribution.

  1. Obtain a copy of the notes handout.
  2. Read Lesson 3-3 on pages 244-248.
  3. As you read, utilize this presentation to help you fill in the missing parts on the handout.

  1. Create a new Google Drawing titled Distribution-(Your Initials) and place it in your Lesson 3 folder.
  2. Create a drawing that visually depicts an example of a channel of distribution for agricultural products as they move from a farm to the final consumers.  Be sure to showcase the channel members as outlined in your notes.  Your drawing should include the following:
    • Pictures
    • Objects
    • Arrows
    • Words
