Assignment 3.3

  1. After researching the Arts, Audio/Video, and Communications career cluster, you need to select a career within that career cluster to research.  Confirm with your instructor, via professional email, what career you chose.
  2. You can use the resources below, but you will need to find FIVE additional credible resources to enhance your understanding of the career chosen.
  3. Make a copy of this Google Document (Espanol), rename it Career Questions-(Your Initials), and move it into your Arts, Audio/Video, and Communications folder.  As you research your chosen career, you need to gather information and answer the questions posed in the document.
  4. Once you have compiled your information about your chosen career within the Arts, Audio/Video, and Communications career cluster, you will be required to create a formal 3-page research report to showcase your results (Example).  The purpose of a research report is to communicate the findings of research studies to a wider audience. The report should be clear, concise, and well-organized so that readers can easily understand the information presented.  Create a new Google Document titled My Report-(Your Initials) and move it into your Arts, Audio/Video, and Communications folder.  Here are the requirements for your report:
    1. Title Page:  Indicates the students name, instructor, career presented, and date of the report
    2. Table of Contents:  Showcase the different headings and their pages to help the reader find information more fluidly
    3. Formatting:  Proper report format with use of headings (one for each question above) and spacing
      • Font – Times New Roman
      • Font Size – 12
      • Spacing – Double-Spaced
      • Paragraph Indents – Yes
      • Page Numbers – Yes
    4. Length: 3 pages or more
    5. Footnotes/citations:  5 or more direct citations within text and footnotes at the bottom of the page
    6. Work cited page:  five sources of information at a minimum and cited in proper MLA format (Use MLA formatting…Resource)
