Assignment 7.3
- If you would like to work with a PARTNER on this cluster, you are free to choose your partner.
- After researching the Government & Public Administration career cluster, you need to select a career within that career cluster to research. Confirm with your instructor, via professional email, what career you chose.
- You can use the resources below, but you will need to find FIVE additional credible resources to enhance your understanding of the career chosen.
- Make a copy of this Google Document (Espanol), rename it Career Questions-(Your Initials), and move it into your Government & Public Administration folder. As you research your chosen career, you need to gather information and answer the questions posed in the document.
- Once you have compiled your information about your chosen career within the Government & Public Administration career cluster, you will be required to create a 4 to 5 minute informational video that details your findings about that career (Example). This is NOT a mere reading of the information, but rather an acting out and showcasing of your career in practice and as a story. These things can be your creation or the use of another, but 50% of your final video needs to be your own creation. However, you will create and edit the video to become your own. Here are the things you will need to complete this project:
- You can create your own video or audio to help explain your findings or you can find other’s videos and use pieces of it within your video. If you choose the latter, speak with your instructor about helping you obtain those videos.
- Your video’s content should showcase your findings to the questions posed and answers obtained in your Career Questions document above.
- Use a video editing application to enhance and connect your clips together. (WeVideo, Google Vids, Canva)
- Use images, shapes, graphics, text, and voice-over to enhance your video and make it your own.
- Add your Work Cited information at the end of your video similar to the credits within a movie. (Use MLA formatting…Resource)
- When you are finished, export your video and save the file into your Government & Public Administration folder and title it MyVideo-(Your Initials).
