Assignment 8.3
- After researching the Health Science career cluster, you need to select a career within that career cluster to research. Confirm with your instructor, via professional email, what career you chose.
- You can use the resources below, but you will need to find FIVE additional credible resources to enhance your understanding of the career chosen.
- Make a copy of this Google Document (Espanol), rename it Career Questions-(Your Initials), and move it into your Health Science folder. As you research your chosen career, you need to gather information and answer the questions posed in the document.
- Once you have compiled your information about your chosen career within the Health Science career cluster, you will be required to create a Social Media Marketing Campaign using Canva and Google Sheets to showcase your results (Example). A social media marketing campaign is a mix of images, videos, and content that is used to promote a topic through a social media channel. It presents information, images, and videos to the viewers to get their attention and inform them about the topic through different media sources. Here are the things you will need to complete this project:
- Make a copy of this Google Sheet, rename it Calendar-(Your Initials), and move it into your Health Science folder.
- You will be required to design 5 image posts, 3 video reels, and 3 video posts for your social media campaign. The relevant topics to generate this media around are listed in your Google Sheet above. You can choose what format each one will entail, but you will be required to meet the media type for the campaign as stated above.
- Once you choose the media type for each topic, complete the social media campaign calendar with your selection. In the Content section, utilize your research to provide literary descriptions to go with your image/video content.
- In the last column, research 20 related keywords that correlate with your topic and type them in as hashtags to include in your content for that day.
- Use your Canva account that you created in Cluster 6 using your school’s Google login information. Following these steps:
- Click this link to sign into your Canva account.
- Once you are logged in to Canva, click on Templates on the left. Then click the Social Media button at the top. You can then scroll down to find a template for a image post, reel video, or video post. Once you have one selected, modify it with images and videos from this link or others that you might find.
- When you are finished, click on Share in the top right. Select Download at the bottom of the list. Then choose the proper format from the File Type drop-down menu. Save the file into your Health Science folder and title it Day 1-(Your Initials) and so on for each media created.
- After you have downloaded the file into your Health Science folder, create a hyperlink from the file in your folder to it’s respective Day in the Calendar spreadsheet.
- Create a new Google Document, title it Work Cited-(Your Initials), and place it in your Health Science folder as well. Add your Work Cited information into the document. (Use MLA formatting…Resource)
