Assignment 1.3

1. After researching the Agriculture, Food, & Natural Resources career cluster, you need to select a career within that career cluster to research.  Confirm with your instructor, via professional email, what career you chose.
2. You can use the resources below, but you will need to find FIVE additional credible resources to enhance your understanding of the career chosen.
   • Career One Stop
   • Career Tech
   • Occupation Outlook Handbook
3. Make a copy of this Google Document (Espanol), rename it Career Questions-(Your Initials), and move it into your Agriculture, Food, & Natural Resources folder.  As you research your chosen career, you need to gather information and answer the questions posed in the document.
4. Once you have compiled your information about your chosen career within the Agriculture, Food, & Natural Resources career cluster, you will be required to create a Google Slide presentation to showcase your results (Example).  A Google Slide presentation allows you to translate complex ideas, facts, or figures into easily digestible visuals. Visual representations of information activate the right hemisphere of the brain, which allows viewers to interpret, expound, and engage with what they’re seeing.  Name the presentation My Agriculture Career-(Your Initials) and move it into your Agriculture, Food, & Natural Resources folder.  Here are the requirements for your presentation:
   1. 13 slides at a MINIMUM
      • A title slide
      • A slide for each of the first 10 questions posed in the document above (10) in #3
      • Explain why would you like or dislike this career
      • A work cited slide (Use MLA formatting…Resource)
   2. Images, graphics, and objects pertinent to the topics being presented
   3. 1 video at a minimum showcasing information about your career
   4. Backgrounds, slide transitions, and animation to keep the audience’s attention
   5. Utilize hyperlinks on your slides to help direct the viewer to more information as needed
