Upon completion of this Canva Lesson, you will be able to:

• Start Canva.
• Understand the elements of the Canva editor window.
• Rename a Canva file.
• Navigate through a canvas.
• Change views.
• Use the Editor options in the left pane.
• Use the toolbar.
• Adjust elements
• Add uploads
• Use templates
• Share the file in various ways

Activity 5-1

1. Pick a product that you like or recently purchased.  
2. Create a new custom rectangularly designed Canva project with the measurements 450 pixels by 900 pixels.
3. Use the skills you acquired in Lesson 5 to design a new advertisement for this product by showcasing the benefits of the product, image of the product, and branding associated with the company producing it.
4. Your design should incorporate at least 10 different aspects of your learning in Lesson 5.
5. Share the file as a PNG file type, name it My Product Choice-(Your Initials), and save it into your Lesson 5 folder.

Activity 5-2

1. Go to Pixabay.com.  
2. Above the Search bar, click Videos.
3. Find a video that showcases the importance of education.
4. Click the Download button and add the video to your Lesson 5 folder.  
5. Use this video and an Instagram Reel template of your choosing in Canva along with the listed items or more below to show the importance of education:
   • 1 shape
   • 1 graphic
   • 1 heading
   • 1 body text
   • 1 effect
6. Save your file as an MP4 video, name it Education Importance-(Your Initials), and place it in your Lesson 5 folder.
